There have been instances where my advice has been sought outside my work area. To maintain effectiveness, I retained fellow experts. I helped a family who migrated from Texas, US to Surrey, BC. This family of 5 was previously unknown to me however after discussing their needs and my advice, they insisted that I supervise the transaction. Since then, I have helped them buy and sell in Surrey, British Columbia through a fellow REALTOR. It doesn't stop here. Since then, I have helped someone in Calgary buy a condo for their son in Edmonton, and helped an investor create a portfolio in Moncton, New Brunswick. All this is possible because of thinking outside the box and looking at the big picture.
